Divorce is not allowed in the Bible because it culminates into sin (Mt.19:1-12). Divorce is a bad way to go especially that it impacts negatively on children and causes broken homes. Separation leading to reconciliation is allowed (1Con.7:10,11). Marriage is meant to be a lifelong committment (Mt.19:8) *

Consider a really bad marriage as a horse with a broken leg, you may kill the horse but it does not fix the leg. Most marriages ending in divorce can be saved by marely one of the parties involved chosing to act responsibly *
